Benning's a smart dude. Part of a lot of big moves. Definitely one of the club's better 'consultants' from a personnel standpoint. He's definitely ready to step up, at least in my opinion, but so is a guy like Don Sweeney.

The talent and skill is there for Soderberg and Smith and they look so close to really breaking out. IMO Kelly is holding that line back from contributing on a nightly basis. Kelly has the defensive skill, but he is holding that line back offensively. I'd love to see Spooner brought up to anchor that 3rd line and Kelly move down to the 4th on the wing.

Caron looks pretty bad. Claude has him playing with Bergy and Loui. Trade bait?

I think sending a message to Marchand more than anything. He hasn't been very good tonight or this season for that matter IMO

I feel the same type of annoyance when marchand has the puck as I did with seguin. All seguin used to do was try to drive to the net with the same move on his forehand, and defenders were picking up on it. Now marchand drives to the net and turns back into the oncoming rush. I would like to see him getting shots off, instead of trying to pass it to someone else.

Forslund and Tripp Tracy were blaming the refs for last night's Canes loss.

except for the part late in the second period I believe when he was all by himself near the far post and I think it was campbell who slipped it cross ice to him, and he had his stick at his hips instead of on the ice which would have been at least a good scoring chance or a goal. Too many brainfarts

I wouldn't be suprised to see Marchand scratched tonight. I don't like Caron but Marchand is a mess.

Edit: If Marchand sits I would rather see Smith on the 2nd line.

He even is trying to beat the D outside instead of his signature over the blueline and pull up move. But he cant get by the D

Tuukka won this game even they didn't deserve the win. The rest of team minus Thornton, Paille and Bergeron looked like poop.

Hopefully Seidenberg and Bartkowski are not seriously hurt. Does anyone feel like if Rask got got hurt this team is royally (frank)ed?

I guess if there is no call-up this morning we can assume Quaider will be ready to go tomorrow night, Blues are another Heavy Team to deal with.

That was one of the worst Defensive games they have played this year, We can only assume the mental aspect of playing back to back really effected them, because you can't say they are physically exhausted when the Season just started.
